Beach NT 1021 lies immediately to the east and is a more crenulate 1 km long north-facing high tide sand beach, with the rock flats narrowing to 100 m, but still usually calm conditions at the shore. It is backed by a 30 m high vegetated ridge in the centre that rises rapidly to 73 m high Mount Dundas (also known as Djawulpawuy).
