Beaches NT 1474 and 1475 represent a boundary between sediment moving east from the vicinity of the Robinson River and west from the Calvert River. The two narrow beaches are 3.2 and 3.4 km long respectively and are separated by a small tidal creek. Whereas beach NT 1474 is composed of westward-trending recurved spits, beach NT 1475 has eastward-trending recurves. Both beaches are backed by 5 km wide salt flats with no Pleistocene barrier deposits. Beach NT 1475 terminates at the mouth of Stockyard Creek.
