This beach initially curves to the south, then extends round a slightly protruding laterite foreland, to terminate at a 200 m wide laterite outcrop. The northern half of the beach is backed by 200-400 m wide grassy beach ridges, with a backing elongate freshwater swamp, connected by a small stream to the centre of the beach. The beach ridges narrow along the foreland, with the southernmost section containing a 500 m section of stable transgressive dunes, which marks the beginning of the higher energy conditions to the south. A 4WD vehicle track skirts the northern end of the wetland and runs out to the beach to the small Dharrni community.
Beach Length: 7.2km
