Mid-way between the two points is a 300 m long boulder beach (NT 944), the only beach along the 20 km of steep rocky cliffs that form the southern shore of the Cape Wilberforce peninsula. This beach represents the first beach on the east coast of the Northern Territory. While the beach is difficult and dangerous to approach from the sea, it lies within 1 km of the protected beaches NT 942 and 943 in Elizabeth Bay and can be accessed on foot from these beaches.
