Beach Q 34 is located between Brannigan and Accident creeks. It is a convex-shaped 4 km long beach dominated at both ends by the tidal channels and extensive tidal shoal deposits that extend up to 2 km offshore. The beach is backed by a 2 km wide sequence of beach ridges and barrier deposits, then several kilometres of salt flats and some inner barriers. There is a vehicle track across the flats to the creek mouth where a rough fishing camp is located.
