Beach Q 414 commences 3 km southwest of the cape and is a 500 m long east-facing beach, bordered by rocky granite points to either end, and backed by a grassy overwash plain, then vegetated slopes rising to 60 m. The beach is fronted by a 100 m wide low tide bar, as well as patchy rock flats, the two combining with the higher waves to form three to four low tide- and rock-controlled rips.
Beach Length: 0.5km
