Beach Q 393 begins on the southern side of the point, with a pocket of high tide sand connected at low tide to the remainder of the 1.2 km long beach which trends south to the 300 m wide Pascoe River mouth. The beach is moderately steep and backed by low flat overwash plain, which widens to 300 m toward the river mouth, then breaks up into a series of recurved spits at the mouth. It has a low tide bar in the north, then the sand waves, which in the south are replaced by the sandy river mouth shoals extending up to 1 km seaward.
Beach Length: 1.2km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
