Beach Q 21 lies a further 4 km to the south and is a 1 km long, very low energy beach that is bordered by James Creek to the south. The straight beach has mangroves growing toward either end, with only a few hundred metres clear of mangroves toward the southern end. Beyond the creek mangroves dominate the next 70 km of coast to the Albert River.
