Beach Q 52 commences on the northern side of the small creek and trends almost due north for 14 km to 100 m wide Horse Creek. This is an eroding section of shore with the beach truncating Holocene beach ridges and salt flats and some small usually blocked creek mouths. It has a moderately steep crenulate beach fronted by north-skewed low tide bars and rips.
