Beach Q 15 is a slightly curving 8.2 km long beach fronted by mud flats with boundary creek mouth sand shoals. It is backed by up to 15 beach ridges which grade into recurved spits toward the boundary Cliffdale and Beryl creeks, indicating sediment transport both onshore to build the ridges and alongshore in both directions to build the spits. There is vehicle access to the eastern side of Cliffdale Creek and the neighbouring elongate lagoon, located between two of the outer spits.
