Beach Q 203 commences on the northern side of the small creek mouth and trends north for 700 m to a smaller creek, beyond which beach Q 204 continues on for another 2.3 km before it merges into mangroves in lee of Possession Island (Fig. 6.33). Both beaches are part of a beach ridge plain, with intervening mangrove-filled swales, that has migrated up to 3 km to the north and reaches 500 m in width. The low gradient, low energy beaches are fronted by 500 m wide sand flats and patchy coral reefs. There is vehicle access to the northern side of Laradeenya Creek.
