Beach Q 208 commences at Smiley Point and curves to the east for 1.6 km to low rocky Battery Point. It is a steep sandy beach fronted by ridged sand flats to the west, with rocks and rock outcrops dominating the eastern half. The beach is backed by a 100-200 m wide beach-foredune ridge plain, with vehicle access to the rear of the beach and a few houses located in lee of Battery Point.
