Beach Q 65 is a 4 km long beach bordered by the interconnected Edward River and Balurga Creek. It is backed by a 500 m wide beach ridge plain, then the linked salt flats and tidal channels. The beach has tidal sand shoals off either end and a low tide bar in between.
