Following construction of the Mooloolaba harbour training walls in the 1960's, a small beach has accumulated on the point against the eastern wall. The 100 m long beach (1548) faces north and consists of a narrow strip of high tide sand, fronted by a continuous intertidal rock flat. It is backed by the grassy reserve on the point, with a walkway leading along the crest of the wall to the beach.
