Beach Q 121 lies to the west of Evans Landing and is a low, 400 m long, 100 m wide, crenulate sandy spit tied to the laterite reefs of Gonbung Point. Navigation lights are located on the point which marks the entrance to Weipa harbour. Strong tidal currents sweep past the point.
