Andoomajettie Point lies 5 km to the east, with beach Q 132 commencing in lee of the mangrove-covered point and curving to the northwest for 1.6 km, to mangroves at the western end. The beach is backed by a 400 m wide series of up to eight grassy beach ridges, and fronted by 500 m wide ridged sand flats. Mangroves dominate the shoreline for the next 15 km to the entrance to Pine River Bay. There is vehicle access across the ridges to the centre of the beach.
