On the north side of 60 m high Monkey Point is a 200 m long, east facing beach; backed by the steep vegetated slopes of the point. It receives waves averaging 0.5 m and has a wide, low gradient beach fronted by a continuous attached bar. The only access to the beach is by boat.

Swimming

Best at high tide, very shallow at low tide.

Surfing

Usually a low shorebreak.

Fishing

Better off the rocks than the shallow beach.

An isolated beach surrounded by steep slopes.
