Beach WA 1667 commences in lee of the elongate spit that marks the eastern end of beach WA 1666. As this spit varies in length so too does the location of Casuarina Point and the length of the beach. Furthermore the eastern end of the beach is also migratory, sometimes deflecting the mouth of its eastern boundary Hooley Creek by more than 1 km. The beach averages 3.4 km in length and faces north. It consists of a reflective beach backed by a low foredune and older beach ridge-recurved spits. A vehicle track runs out straight across the old ridges to reach the centre of the beach.
Beach Length: 3.4km
