North of Willie Creek are two longer beaches (K 22 and 23) separated by Cape Boileau. Both beaches are accessible by vehicle tracks at the 3.4 km and 14.5 km mark on the Manari road. Beach K 22 commences on the north side of Willie Creek and extends due north for 10.4 km, curving round at the northern end in lee of Cape Boileau, and terminating at the mouth of Barred Creek. The beach is ultradissipative with a 300 m wide, low gradient intertidal beach. It is backed by a 1 km wide series of foredune ridges, which widen from 200 m in the south to 500 m in the north and have been transgressed by dunes. There is access to both ends of the beach, with the northern Barred Creek area being a relatively popular picnic and fishing spot.
Beach Length: 10.4km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
