Foul Point is a 22 m high red laterised sandstone point. The shore trends south from the point, with beach K 147 located 1 km to the south. The beach is a 900 m long sand beach, backed by bluffs in the north, then a low foredune, terminating at the mouth of a small tidal creek which is connected to a 10 ha area of salt flats. The beach is fronted by a narrow band of rock flats then a 500 m wide veneer of sand flats and finally reef flats extending 1.5 km offshore. A vehicle track leads to the southern headland where a solitary house is located.
