Beach WA 1981 is located along the west-facing front of the cape. The beach extends for 1.1 km and consists of a moderately steep high tide beach backed by rock debris and the scarped red Pleistocene dunes, and fronted by low gradient sand flats, with scattered rocks particularly at each end. The northern 300 m trends to the northeast to the northern tip of the cape and is fronted by continuous 200-400 m wide irregular rock flats. A vehicle track reaches the northern tip.
