Beach WA 2038 commences on the northern side of Barn Hill in an easterly inflection in the shore. It trends straight northeast for 3.2 km to a 200 m long section of protruding bluffs. It is a moderate gradient ultradissipative beach backed by slumping 20-30 m high red pindan along the south-central section of the beach, with vegetated bluffs to the north, and a narrow strip of foredune along the central-northern section of the beach. There is a vehicle track down the bluffs at the very southern end of the beach.
