Beaches WA 2001 and 2002 occupy the shore of Black Rock Point, a 15 m high dune-capped calcarenite point. Beach WA 2002 commences immediately to the east and continues for another 600 m to the next slight protrusion on the shore. It is a similar narrow high tide beach with rock then sand flats extending 700 m offshore. A gravel road from Bidyadanga reaches the southern boundary point and centre of the beach, with a shelter at the point. These two are the main recreational beaches for the community.
