Beach WA 2005 is a 900 m long west-facing low beach ridge, that faces into the bay across 2 km wide sand and mud flats, together with tidal creeks draining out either end of the beach. It is backed by a 1.5-2 km wide series of inner beach ridge-barrier, of which beach WA 2004 forms the outer barrier of the system.
