Beach WA 1994 extends between the narrow Neck Point, the eastern border of Cape Bossut Creek, and Ledge Point, 2.3 km to the east. The beach faces north and consists of a western sandy section while the eastern half is backed by the calcarenite of Ledge Point. The western half is backed by a 500 m wide unstable barrier with areas of deflated and active dunes rising to 27 m, which in turn are backed by the 1 km wide mangroves and salt flats of a tributary of Cape Bossut Creek. The beach narrows to the west where it consists of a foredune blanketing the calcarenite, with beachrock outcropping along the base of the high tide beach. Sand flats extends several hundred metres off the western half with a mixture of rocks and sand flats off the eastern end.
