The northern end of Riddell Beach (K 17) is located on the northern side of the bluffs. The bluffs are eroding and both scarped and slumping onto the beach. The narrow high tide beach is fronted by predominant rocky intertidal flats and only patches of sand. The beach extends for 400 m to the southern side of Gantheaume Point.
