Beach WA 826 commences on the northern side of the small groyne that separates it from Coogee Beach (WA 825). It initially trends north past the low calcarenite bluffs of James Rocks, then opens up with a backing 10 m high partly active foredune, for a total length of 700 m. It terminates at the seawall on the southern side of the old power station. The beach is narrow and relatively steep, with usually low waves.
