Woodman Point beach (WA 822) occupies most of the southern side of the point. It is a curving, southwest to south-facing 1.5 km long low energy beach that extends from the harbour wall to low calcarenite outcrops on the point. In the east it is a sandy reflective beach, while to the west intertidal calcarenite reef extend 100-300 m of the shore. It is backed by a low grassy foredune, then the Woodman Point Road that runs out to the point.
