Beaches K 281 to 283 are located at the southeastern tip of the island. Beach K 281 is a narrow 700 m long high tide sand and cobble beach, backed by 20 m high sandstone bluffs and fronted by 200 m wide rock flats, then mud flats. Beaches K 282 and 283 are adjoining 120 m and 150 m long cobble-boulder beaches. Beach K 282 is backed by a small V-shaped lagoon, and fronted by 50 m wide rock flats then sand flats. Beach K 283 is backed by 20 m high bluffs and fronted by 100 m wide rock flats, then mud flats.
