WA 22 commences 200 m to the west and is a narrow discontinuous 600 m strip of sand, that is cut in places by rock debris and slight protrusions in the cliff line. It terminates as the cliff abruptly turns inland and becomes the landlocked Wylie Scarp. This point also marks the beginning of the main Bilbunya beach (WA 23). All four beach share a surf zone dominated by a usually detached bar cut by large rips
