Beach WA 15 is a 4 km long continuation of this system, and is backed by more active dune systems extending up to 500 m inland, that have deflated down to the Pleistocene surfaces exposing the red soil horizons. The beach has a low gradient, waves about 0.5 m high and a continuous low tide bar and lower beach face, with seagrass debris on the upper beach.
