Beach WA 1943 occupies the eastern end of the point. It is a 400 m long east-facing high tide and beach, fronted by 50-100 m wide calcarenite rock flats, which grade into mangroves at the southern end. Mulla Mulla Downs Creek is located 700 m south of the beach. A vehicle track runs round the top of the creek flats to reach the creek mouth and then up the shoreline to the eastern tip of the point. The point area is a used for fishing and camping.
