beach (WA 57) is 600 m long and faces south. Both beaches receives waves averaging about 1 m which maintain a continuous attached low gradient bar, with rips only forming during higher wave conditions. There is an active foredune behind both beaches and dune transgression extending up to 200 m in behind the northern beach. The main access road runs along behind the dunes to the southern end of the main beach, where there is also an outcrop of granite at the end of the beach, which separates it from a 50 m long pocket beach WA 58.
