Beach WA 185 lies 500 m south of the cove and is steep, curving 150 m long east-facing shelly beach, bordered by gneiss rock platforms, together with rock reefs off the beach. Waves averaging over 1 m break heavily across the rocks and reefs, but are relatively low at the shore. However a permanent rip drains the entire beach and flows out across the reefs. The beach is backed by vegetated slopes rising to 40 m, with a small car park at the southern end of the beach. There is a right-hand surf break over the rocks at the southern end of the beach.
