WA 175 is a 250 m long continuation of the beach, with a reef across the inner surf zone, and a strong permanent rip draining the beach. Both beaches are backed by densely vegetated dune-capped, calcarenite bluffs, rising to 70 m with the dunes then extending 1-2 km inland. Vehicle tracks reach either end of the two beaches.
