Beach WA 176 and 177 are two adjoining curving beaches 300 m and 600 m long respectively. They faces southeast and are protected by bordering rocky points and rock reefs lining the points, with waves breaking heavily on the reefs. At the shore the waves average less than 1 m and surge up moderately steep reflective beaches. The vehicle track runs along the top of the 40 m high vegetated bluffs that backs the beaches. Both embayments are drained by a single permanent rip, against the boundary between the beaches
