Beach WA 167 lies immediately to the north and is a 300 m long sand beach, wedged between the rocks of the head and a 300 m long section of 50 m high calcarenite cliff that separates it from the long Roses beach (WA 168). A patch of calcarenite also outcrops on the centre of the beach. The beach however shares a 200 m wide surf zone with beach WA 168, and has strong permanent rips running out against the eastern rocks and in front of the western cliffs. Active dunes blow from the beach across the 20 m high rear of the head to beach WA 165.
