Beach WA 169 is located halfway along the eastern shore of the point. It is a 250 m long sandy beach wedged in a small embayment, with a protruding rock platform forming its eastern boundary and the rocks at the base of the high bluffs to the west. Rocks also outcrop in the centre of the beach. It is backed by a crenulate, partly unstable foredune, then the vegetated bluffs. It has a 200 m wide surf zone, with one strong central rip draining the entire system.
