Beach WA 170 lies 500 m east of the tip of the point and is a curving 200 m long strip of high tide sand, fronted by a rock and reef strewn high energy surf zone. Rock reefs dominate the eastern side, with rock platforms and bluffs the western side. A strong rip drains out the centre of the small embayment (Fig. 4.47).
