Beach WA 171 lies at the tip of the point, immediately west of beach WA 170. It is 200 m long, convex in shape, curving round the point, with an irregular rock platform then rocks and rock reef extending 500 m seaward of the beach where they are exposed to high waves. There is an area of sandy surf access on the western side of the beach, however it leads to a strong permanent rip. It is backed by an unstable foredune, from which sand blows across the point to beach WA 170.
Beach Length: 0.2km
General Hazard Rating: 10/10
