WA 200 extending from the southern side of the foreland for 300 m. The beach curves round between the reef and a boulder strewn southern point, with rock reefs also off the beach. Waves break across the reefs with a calmer inner lagoon at the shore (Fig. 4.55). Low vegetated terrain backs both beaches. Pincer Point is a 20 m high dune-capped, metasedimentary headland, that extends south about 1 km. It lies 7 km west of the Margaret Cove headland, and between the two are five near continuous, south-facing beaches (WA 201-205), with a small beach on the point (WA 206). There is 4WD access to the point, but no facilities. All the beaches and backing dune areas are located within the Lake Shaster Nature Reserve.
Beach Length: 0.3km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
