Beach WA 205 commences at the western foreland and curves to the west for 3.5 m terminating against the eastern rocks of Pincer Point. The eastern half of the beach receives waves averaging about 1.5 m and together with boundary rocks and some rock outcrops, has a 100 m wide surf zone drained by both strong permanent and beach rips. The western half becomes increasing protected and the bar more continuous, as it narrows into the western corner (Fig. 4.56). The beach is backed by steep, partly active 20 m high foredune, and then 2 km wide vegetated dunes. The access track reaches this beach 1 km east of the point, and then continues on to the point.
Beach Length: 3.5km
