Beach WA 204 is a 1.6 km long beach located between the next two foreland bound rock outcrops. Waves break over reefs off each foreland and a small creek is usually dammed behind the eastern foreland. The central section of beach usually has 2-3 beach rips, with permanent rips to either end. It is backed by a partly active foredune, then the creek, which winds though a 1 m long section of vegetated Holocene dunes overlying the Pleistocene calcarenite.
