Beach WA 150 is located between the Yacht Club breakwater and the beginning of the continuous harbour seawall, with a rock groyne also crossing the beach. The beach is 250 m long with a small central rock groyne and faces and east along the main harbour wharves and towards the breakwater. Small boats are moored at the jetty in lee of the curving breakwater at the northern end of the beach, while a range of boating facilities are located in the reserve behind the beach.
