Beach WA 95 commences on the western side of the low sloping granite of Alexander Point and trends northwest for 1.7 km to a low 100 m long granite outcrop. The beach is well exposed to the southwest waves and winds, with a 100 m wide rip dominated surf zone (Fig. 2.11b), and backing massive active and vegetated transgressive dunes, the latter extending up to 6 km inland. Several beach rips and permanent rips against the boundary rocks, as well as a rock reef near the centre of the beach result in hazardous swimming conditions.
Beach Length: 1.7km
