Beach WA 99 is a slightly curving, south-facing beach that extends from the western side of the granite headland for 1.8 km to the next smaller granite outcrop. It receives protection from offshore islands, with waves averaging about 1 m, which maintain a continuous narrow bar along the beach, with rips only forming during periods of higher waves. It is backed by a 1 km wide area of revegetating dune transgression in the east, and a high scarped foredune along the centre and western section of beach, backed by vegetated transgressive dunes extending up to 500 m inland.
Beach Length: 1.8km
