Beach WA 27 continues to the west on the other side of the rocks before curving round to face east in lee of Point Lorenzen. The point is a low linear 300 m long section of genesis, with beaches WA 27 and 28 forming a narrow sandy 200 m long tombolo to its lee (Fig. 4.12). The beach is composed of medium quartz and receives waves less than 1 m, which decrease towards the point and maintain a reflective beach, with is backed by vegetated parabolic dunes extending up to 1 km inland, with an access track through the dunes to the rocks between beaches WA 26 and 27.
