Beach WA 26 is a relatively straight 700 m long, white sand beach that commences amongst the sloping, 5 m high, massive gneiss rocks at its eastern end, trending essentially west to a straight 500 m long rocky section that separates it from beach WA 27. The beach receives waves averaging about 1 m, which maintain a continuous 50 m wide low tide bar, with permanent rips between the bar and the boundary rocks at either end. It is backed by generally stable transgressive dunes that extend up to 300 m inland and rise to 20 m.
Beach Length: 0.7km
