Beach WA 140 lies 1 km to the north, in a steep valley on the northern side of granite point. The 400 m long beach faces north along the large Le Grande Beach. It is relatively sheltered and receives waves averaging about 0.5 m, which surge up a moderately steep beach face. It is bordered by steeply rising granite slopes, and backed by a vegetated foredune rising into the coastal heath of the valley. .
