Salmon Beach (WA 155) lies immediately to the west and is a curving, south-facing 400 m long beach bordered by two protruding wave-washed granite points. A continuous band of beachrock rims the beach, which while providing an excellent platform for beach fishers, it makes for hazardous swimming conditions. Waves average over 1 m coming into the beach and break heavily on the edge of the beachrock, with a solitary permanent rip draining the beach through the centre of the bay. A small car park is located behind the centre of the beach and provides good access to the shore.
